Dua Before Eating

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ

Transliteration: Bismillah.

Meaning: In the name of Allah.

اردو: اللہ کے نام سے۔

If You Forget to Say Bismillah

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ فِي أَوَّلِهِ وَآخِرِهِ

Transliteration: Bismillahi fi awwalihi wa akhirihi.

Meaning: In the name of Allah at its beginning and at its end.

This wording is reported in Sunan Abi Dawud 3767 and Jami’ at-Tirmidhi 1858.

Khana Khane Ke Baad Ki Dua

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنِي هَذَا وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ

Transliteration: Alhamdu lillahil-ladhi at’amani hadha wa razaqanihi min ghayri hawlin minni wa la quwwah.

Meaning: Praise is to Allah who fed me this and provided it for me without any power or strength from me.

اردو: تمام تعریفیں اللہ کے لیے ہیں جس نے مجھے یہ کھانا کھلایا اور مجھے یہ رزق عطا فرمایا، بغیر میری کسی طاقت اور قوت کے۔
