Laylatul Qadr 2027 UAE – Expected Odd Nights

Laylatul Qadr (the Night of Decree) does not have one confirmed Gregorian date. Muslims are encouraged to seek it during the odd nights of the last ten nights of Ramadan. Current calendars tentatively place the start of Ramadan 1448 AH in the UAE on Monday, 8 February 2027, subject to the official UAE moon-sighting announcement.

Is the 27th Night Definitely Laylatul Qadr?

No. The exact night is not confirmed. Authentic hadith encourage Muslims to seek Laylatul Qadr in the odd nights of the last ten nights of Ramadan. Therefore, it is better not to limit worship only to the 27th night.

Dua for Laylatul Qadr

A well-known dua taught to Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) is:

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي

Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul-‘afwa fa‘fu ‘anni.

Meaning: O Allah, You are Pardoning and love to pardon, so pardon me.
